Porter Farms LLC was formed in 2004 by the heirs of Mr. & Mrs. Ivor Porter Estate.

The property described in this site is what is left of two 80 acre ranches that Mr. Ivor Porter and his family farmed since the early 1940’s. One of the 80 acre parcels located in Imperial was sold and the funds were set aside for the development of the Brawley Ranch.
The south each corner of the Brawley Ranch was sold to Cal Trans when the development of Highway 111 was eminent. That leaves approximately 43 acres of the Rancho-Porter community that are under the control of Porter Farms LLC.
